WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department said it was investigating after a woman was found dead in Northwest D.C. Saturday afternoon.
MPD said that at about 5:20 p.m., they were dispatched to 1611 Riggs Place where a woman was found unconscious and not breathing. She was pronounced dead a few minutes later.
Police said this is an active death investigation.
